About Two Rivers

Two Rivers Professional Development Center is an educational intermediate service agency serving educators in Knox and Peoria Counties in central/west central Illinois. Our agency was established as a cooperative of two Regional Offices of Education that services these counties.

Mission Statement

Two Rivers Professional Development Center's mission is to enable teachers, staff, and administrators in the member school districts to achieve their professional goals. We are dedicated to the belief that professional development holds a significant place in the continuing quest for school improvement, but only when the resulting activities are relevant and well charted, and when the information and equipment used are cutting edge. With deep commitment to quality education for all children and to lifelong learning for all, the Center staff provides state-of-the-art resources, services, and technical assistance to school personnel on a local and regional basis.
